Traceability

Ionization chambers and electrometers are calibrated at the IBA Dosimetry  Dosimetry Laboratory by the substitution method using our reference standards calibrated at the PTB-Braunschweig (German Federal Institute of Physics and Metrology). We are offering calibration of dosemeters traceable to the new primary standard of absorbed dose to water operating at PTB since January 1st, 2006, which helps you to decrease significantly the uncertainty of absorbed dose determination in clinical practice. The Dosimetry Laboratory is participating in interlaboratory comparisons organized by recognized dosimetry laboratories to verify declared level of performance.
